cuz it'd be freakin fun! I've had a ride in a 700r4 3rd gen with 350 and people are always going on about it. The 1-2 drop isn't that bad and its more fun from a stoplight.

Well the car is assembled and HOLY SH*T that poor one wheel wonder 3.08 rear end can lay about a 400 foot stripe from a stop. Where i'm at now is the transmission slips into 2nd gear horribly due to the fact it has way to much torque so the transmission needs a good beef up I'm gonna swap over to a manual valve body and ratchet shifter then start saving for a posi rear end. I will get some pictures up of the motor in the car and the nasty rubber i left lay in my employers parking lot (oopsie). I ended up having to put small block truck manifolds on it for right now cuz my headers wouldnt fit after i get the rest of the drivetrain working good i will invest in flowtech headers and the dynomax exhaust kit for G-body's. I gotta say the couple days i drove it saying "damn the transmission i wanna have fun" I sure caught some poor mustang owners by surprise. Any questions feel free to ask it only took about a month to make the full swap over so if anybody needs some advice feel free to ask. And other than the mods i mentioned what should i do next???

I got the same motor in my 88 SS. What size rod did you go with?? That qeunch gap is small in them motors, I would invest in a rev limiter if that transmission and or rear end fails it could shoot up your rpm's and you might be in trouble. I got my headers to fit it takes some time and a bunch of patience!!! I had to trim and do a little grinding on the control arm, and I had a local exhaust shop modify the header so it would clear the heater/AC box. I can shoot you a couple pictures of the control arm and the modifications made on the header if you would like. Any qeustions feel free to pm me!!! GOOD LUCK!!!
