nice 85! i have 2...love the cars, hate the grilles on these though, your looks in nice shape though!

It needs.....hmm...nothing but paint. I did everything else. Oh the Antenna is stuck up. and I need a cowl hood for it.

If it needs paint anyway, I'd shave the antenna and install either an aftermarket one (similar to a Sirius/XM one) or get a windshield with the antenna inside. Looks much cleaner.

nice another 85 cutty, looks like a great start to build off of, solid and all there, same condition mine was in, i also tossed the 307 and went with a 350 chevy and some lil perfomance upgrades, My cars my daily driver also. here's my thread http://gbodyforum.com/viewtopic.php?t=7965

You could also take the easy way out and put in the standard antenna from cars without the power option. I never understood why cars needed power antennas. It's like they ran out of ideas for things to put on the option list that would fail soon after the car was out of warranty.

I'm going to shave it. I don't like the radio anyway...I'm very into car audio. I have thousands tied up in my hobby. By the way....found me a 403 block on craigslist for $50. I'm going to check it out tomorrow.

Just so you know, that is not the best block to use for the amount of power you want to make. I dont know how much money you are trying to put in it, but that engine will probably take a lot of it.

Recycle them.

Seriously, almost anything will be better than those. Save up for some nice aftermarket heads, or at least track down some Vortecs with the intake and valve covers to match.

I should have asked, is this a Chevy or Olds engine you bought?
