finially got some snow in alabama

Georgia department of transportation....The real reason Atlanta was shut down because of 2 inches of snow.

You can laugh about how us southerners don't take snow too well but I do believe we take hurricanes much better than NY or NJ.

Two weeks ago here in NJ, when I was at a stoplight. An SUV who had the green light went into a skid and almost slammed into me sideways, he only stopped 3 inchs away from me. Not all northerns know how to drive in the snow. But this has been an unusually bad winter up here through, alomst two weeks of subfreezing temps, when we rarely stay below freezing over 24 hours consistently. Everything is frozen over causing fears of flooding because of ice jams.
