LOL. Hey just a thought, if it runs hot and just in case it overheats, keep a roll of duct tape on had. Tape up any coolant leaks etc... According to Red Green it works just fine.
I just googled RED GREEN and laughed my a$$ off for 10 minutes. These guys could easily live down the road from me!!! We grow all types down here in southern VA...lol. But I think red would have just hung the motor from a come-a-long hooked to a tree and ran it without water or exhaust manifolds...lol.

actually 215* isn't all that bad. many (90's) GM's run at that temp--by design.
as for wood, hell it keeps your house together right? if it's designed right there's no reason why it won't work. (granted vibration could be a problem in the long term.)
