Yes, and I sure could have used a good net man. Holding a rod in one hand and a net in the other is challenging for an old fart like me. He jumped out four times before I finally got him boated. Luckily he was well hooked. And around here, the keeper slot is 28" to 36" , so this guy was right there. I was using light tackle for the Bluefish that were around. This guy muscled in and really gave me a run for the money.

Yeah, my Wife became an expert wrangling in big fish, by herself. It can be a challenge for sure. Always great to catch big ones like that👍.
Two keepers in a week is big news around here. Only two fish today, a 24" throwback and this guy. 29" is just into the keeper slot. I invited him to dinner. He agreed. 
My buddy Jared caught this 9 pounder on Last Mountain Lake in a spot called the "Tressel".
That lake has big Walleye and Pike, largest natural lake in Southern Saskatchewan, supposedly hits 100 feet deep in some spots. He pulls some nice Burbot out of lake in the Winter, Ice Fishing as well.
