Should be dropping in my lq4 in my Monte here very soon. With the fitech intake and system. The question is, anyone else running it ? Will the water pump neck clear the throttle body ?

There have been issues with people running their basic tb systems. The tech support supposedly sucks as well.

Not to nitpick but, I see guys taking factory EFI engines and running aftertmarket systems. What is the advantage to this?
Not being a smartass, honestly curious.

Some factory EFI are tough to hack into and install into another body. Also some factory set ups are very intolerant of cam changes without tuning.

there was someone in here that was running one, I remember talking to him about it.... just been so long that I can't remember who it was or what if he'd run it long enough to get an opinion...

I am using it with a gn tank, sender and aeromotive fuel pump on my malibu. I would suggest to drive it a couple of hundred miles before tuning. I started making adjustments right away and it ran crappy.

I reset back to default with my initial settings and it's been running great! I am using it on a sbc.

Fitech now has a system that replaces the ls intake and all. pricey but no hassles for harnesses and stuff.
