Yea they are right. I had a grand cherokee on and it would collapse but the end was the aluminum so it wouldnt fit.

monte olrac said:It's not a jeep grand cherokee, its just aearly 90's regualur square body style jeep cherokee...when you pull the jeep grand cherokee you'll notice the steering colum end is too small, but when you have the right one there are some nylon tab's that keep it from collasping just hit it with a hammer and you break em right off
