Flat earth people are stupid!

This is about vaccine deniers too? Well, I hate to throw cold water on anyone but back when I delivered the Mail to a NYC public school there was a woman working there who for all intent looked both physically and mentally handicapped. I asked about her and the security guard told me that when she was a little girl attending the school she got all the usual vaccines we got as kids. One, I think maybe it was Polio, damaged her. She was hospitalized for years and never recovered totally. The City felt guilty and when she grew up they gave her a make-work job in the school so she could support herself. She was a very nice person but had the mentality of a fifth grader. So when they speak of the .001% that go wrong that represents real people not some abstract statistic. But I agree- without the vaccines we would all be up the creek.

What's crazier? People believing that the earth is flat or people believing that there's an almighty god? Same difference

I had to go there

What would Polio actually do to her? Make her sing and dance? The good of the many too harm the very, very few or one, our choice to make. There is a current measles outbreak, guess who might have started it, a few unvaccinated kids.

Not for much longer:

Hooray for herd immunity!

No one life is greater than the value of the masses (not to get into an overpopulation discussion, and debate how diseases are a form of population control, and that the human condition has completely undermined the process of natural selection...).

<= Raised Lutheran, attended and taught Sunday school, got a higher education and then realized applying the Golden Rule in life was enough to make my deity happy - and if not then they are a selfish egomaniacal prick and I don't want to meet them.

To quote my grandpa, "religion is a mental illness".

Reminds me of a conversation we had at work the other day about how so many people will slam others for believing in things like climate change, evolution, dinosaurs-basically anything regarding science because SCIENCE IS EVIL-but yet in the very next breath praise a sky wizard 😆

I think I'll take about 20% off and sit the next few plays out before I get myself in trouble.

yeah, religion and politicks guise.... :/
