CHEVY Flat tappet rockers to full roller rockers

A buddy of mine gave me a set of these full rollers

I have a flat tappet valve train would I just be able to swap in the rockers and go like use the original pushrods and everything or what would I need to get them on

As long as your rocker studs are 3/8" and you have enough valve cover clearance they are a direct swap.

I was doing some research yesterday and seen that, to be honest I’m not 100% sure I didn’t look at that when I had the valve covers off but I think it’s the stock style push in, I’m going off this picture and it doesn’t look like it’s a after market threaded stud as it would have the nut under the rocker right? Zoom in on the number 3 exhaust rocker

Are you running screw in studs or are they the original pressed in ones?

Seen mixed reviews on using the stock stud with after market rockers some said do it some said don’t and if I do want to tap it I would have to take the heads off huh

yeah it's always a crap shoot.you could rock the full rollers and be ok or....not.if you were to go the screw in stud route it's an all or nothing situation pull them off and it becomes less than cost effictive..those are the pressed in one's,you're rite there'd be a hex shaped under the rocker arm. roll the dice,let us know what happen

The studs will be fine. The rockers don't change anything. Its even questionable as to whether the work is worth it for a 5-10 hp gain.

I would save those those full roller rockers for performance heads that came originally with screw in studs... but if insist, install an Intake and Exhaust rocker on just one cylinder, make a full rotation of the crank by hand and see if you have any clearance issues. GL
