I did that but but now I need some block of bolts so it wont hit the header? Yu have any idea on what bold I could use.. I was thinking I could use the flat ones with that use L wrenchs. Any help would be great?

a picture would help a lot here. I just plugged the coolant hole you're talking about on my block and ran a mechanical temp gauge (aftermarket) from the thermostat housing. And about the clearance on the control arm - mine was tight maybe 1/4" clearance, thats with new solid mounts also. What motor mounts are you using?

It fits when I took off the sending unit but I'd tried to put it back on and it didn't work.. the headers are in the way now so I was trying to find another bolt to block it or jus grind off a piece of the headers so it could fit. I'm using some camero mounts o took of my dads 79 and made it into solid mounts..

why not just use a plug in that hole instead of a bolt for the sending unit block off? What headers did you get, do you have a link for them? The sending unit can be moved anywhere, just need to find another spot, are you saying the sending unit is now broken?

No, I used my manifold for my sending unit but I need to find a flat bolt to plug it up so my headers can fit .. its the flowtech afterburners and I called them early and said it should've fit jus right..

you know you're looking for a plug not a bolt right? any hardware store will have them looks something like this:

check the auto and hardware store and/or find the size you need, you may have to order an allen head plug:

edit- use pipe thread tape too!!

Okay I got my headers on. I jus cut a piece of my upper control arm off and now I need to notch my own crossmember..
