Fluid Film

The table on our flywheel surfacer got all rusted up from someone using the wrong dilution of coolant. I scuffed it all off, but eventually it came back even with the proper coolant dilution. So after scuffing it all off again, sprayed it with fluid film and let it sit for a whole 24 hours. Afterward I wiped it all off cuz I didnt want it mixing with the coolant. It must have penetrated the steel, 2 years later and still no rust!

Love FLuid Film. Got turned onto it about 20 years ago. My favorite use is door lock cylinders. I've had them so corroded, the key wouldn't even go inside the lock. After repeatedly pushing the straw inside and soaking the lock, I was able to get the key inside and start to try turning it. Kept at it for a couple of days and got it working again!
