The body kit is a Hurst Olds Aero kit. Very rare and this one was modified a lot to make it look "right".

The car is an '88 and if my understanding is correct on this, the Aero body kit was made that year by Doc Watson. If bought and used on an '88 Cutlass Supreme it made it an '88 Hurst Olds comemorative (20th anniversary). Kind of a going away, end of the Cutlass kind of thing.

No, it still has the stock 2.8 v6. My buddy had planned on dropping an Olds engine into it but it's his daily driver and he said the dumb 2.8 runs just too good to pull it, even though its very lacking in the power department.

Oh, and it's not an "S-10" but rather a "W-10" now. 😉

He used the front header/grilles from a Bravada and then painted the trunk with a similar graphic as the older W-30's. But instead of the W-30 on the side they went with the W-10 designation. Then painted Oldsmobile on the tailgate and added a set of SSIII's.

It's definitely very different and to be honest, I've seen it so much that when I see a normal S-10, it seems weird to see the tailgate read Chevrolet.

Awesome, that's almost to a T what I was thinking of, lol. Complete with Bravada nose and certain Interior pieces, very cool 8) , just to think my friends told me I was warped for wanting to do that  .

Ha that w-10 will be a cool lil truck.

And i've also been tinkering with the idea of flush mounting the glass. Also been thinking about removing the drip rail, any thoughts on that?

I've removed mine. Just have to go slow and cut a little then weld a little so that you don't let the roof separate and distort too much.

The biggest issue is making the transition from the A-pillars to the side of the roof look correct.

Andrew can you please pm any info about that rear wing on your friends cutlass with the body kit, thanks man. wow when you guys ride to shows your really gonna turn some heads

The rear spoiler is part of the Hurst Aero kit. Don't really have any details on it other than it comes with the aero kit which are next to non-existant.
