temp sensor for computer has two prongs, one is for the wire from computer, the other prong is for ground. gm didn't want to rely on the sensor body as the ground, they ran a separate ground. it was supposed to give a more accurate reading with out interference from plumbers tape, etc.
oreilys web site is lacking some info, but it looks like this would be the part # WT359P. try napa or rock auto to verify info.

napa web site does not list a sender/sensor. their web site is wrong. call the store for more info. rock auto has a good listing. they show sender/sensor for comp (eng management), gauge and light. yours should be a single blade.

Oreilly's is definitely lacking some info but I agree it appears the BWD #WT359P is correct.
Someone reviewed the BWD #WT359 on Amazon as "Marketed as the sensor for the gauge, this is the sensor for the light."
So hopefully the "P" is for the gauge.

yes, according to oreilys web site, WT359 is listed as a switch.

awesome, thanks guys. looks like i found both, hopefully they both work properly this time. Otherwise ill be back here for help🙁
