One other option is a Winters rear end. It has a bolt on kit to mount it on a G body and the gears are inexpensive and easy to change, with hand tools you can do it in about 1/2 hour. It has straight cut gears though so they make a bit of noise

Ive built plenty of 9"s in the last few years for G bodys, both floater hub style for circle track and standard bolt in axles for the street. (And a quick change for my personal car like above)

Quick has about the best deals going. Hard for me to compete with for sure. Nothing but good stuff from them as far as the 3rd member stuff that Ive gotten in their private label line.
