I have finally been working on my cutlass! Swapped from the 3.8 to a mild 350 , engine is in just needs the headers and plumbing , anyways I found a ford 9" for sale cheap! But it's for a "gm metric chassis" . Is a gm metric chassis and a g body the same ? The ears on the top look really close to the right angle
Any insight would be much appreciated!
Thanks!

G body (81-88) and late A body (78-80) cars are considered metric chassis. The early 67-72 (Chevelle etc) A bodies are not metric chassis. The 9" you're looking at should be the correct one that fits our cars.

Awsome , hope the guy gets back to me before anyone else gets it, it won't last long at the price if somebody else figures this out

Thanks
