Yes ill take all the pics i can get. I dont know exactly what the benefit is to strengthening up the rear control arm bracket though. Care to shed some light?

For launching... keeps them from bending and brackish...

I did it to mine dident have any issues
Maybe iam just over thinking it. Although, it does seem a little close for comfort considering i cant easily toss the frame on to see if it works. Thanks!

If you need to relocate your transmission mount, I made up a bunch of these:

One advantage is when retrofitting a 200-4R to a pre-1984 G, you don't need the extension plate.

I wish i would have known someone had these before i fully enclosed the rail. I plan on fabbing and welding my own extension.

Sorry to disappoint you. I matched the GM stamping weld locations. You could cut out a segment and weld this back in and touch up the paint. I'll dig one out and get some better pictures tomorrow.

Pics would be great. Iam sure i could modify the piece to work with my set up.

This is interesting. My 86 Monte SS has t tops and i noticed that right above the opera windows on the roof is a small dimple on the drivers side. I was wondering if it had something to do with the frame tweeking when the tops are off. Being they dont use torque boxes on these cars
