I would go with rustoleum my self. Rattle can a truck frame over dirt and rust seven years ago and it still looks decent. You can get any type of aplication you want. Rattle can, brush able, or spray it on, and you can get it any were. Good stuff!

I used "limco low VOC acrylic 1k" something or other. It's what the guy at the automotive paint supply place recommended. I don't have much painting experience, but it seemed to go on nicely. It seems like it's durable, a lot harder than just regular paint.

If memory serves it was a bit pricey though. 50 bucks a quart or something, not including reducer and whatnot. And the quart just barely did the frame.

I used the VHT suspension and chassis paint. it hasnt chipped or anything so far, so good. Fairly cheap too. I plan on spraying the rest of my chassis with it eventually.

For those of you that used spray paint can you post pics? This is gonna be more of a show car than the last one so I want something that not only looks good but holds up.

I also used VHT chassis paint underneath and also on the roll bar etc., it holds up very well.

You used it on the floor or the frame?

How much did the frame and floor take???
I only used it on the frame and I used most of a 1 qt. can. The under body and interior were done with some paint a friend gave me, it is the same paint they use on the Sprint Cup cars. I don't know what brand it is, the cans were not marked. (My friend works for Jack Roush)
