Frame notching measurements and strength

I used the CTSV oil pan,pickup,etc from a 2005, eBay 1" setback plates with the notch for the iron blocks, modified the F-body headers on the #2 primary.

IF you use tubular upper control arms it's not necessary to modify the F-body headers.

did you straighten the drivers side header?
 
Amusingly enough I didn't need to. I only had to make the one small modification on the passenger side #2 primary because it rubbed the edge of the upper control arm. Like I said, with tubular uppers it wouldn't be an issue.

The slight angle on the drivers side collector actually worked to my advantage to give me a little more clearance for the slave cylinder when I go to the T56.
 
Looking at the Holley headers, they are almost identical to the F-body ones with only 2 differences I can see. The drivers side collector has been brought back in towards the vehicle centerline and the #2 passenger primary was routed slightly differently. That's the only differences I can spot. Well that and the price tag.....
