this spot is common to rot on these old g body’s, luckily this is the only spot the rest is mint, just took the grinder to the weld that flaps the frame over and split it apart, going to get some 1/8 in for the repair

Another common problem spot is the passenger side #2 body mount rusting out due to the ill placed HVAC drain.

Already swapped out that body mount it was rotted, and your right that HVAC drain is a poor spot
