What is the metal like with the rest of the rear rail. Other than the bushing area it doesn't look too bad. I'm disappointing you are welding the upper control arm bracket back on, thought you might be doing something with the front control arm bracket to get rid of the anti dive in these cars. You did a nice job of boxing the frame but for the center (#3) you'll need an access hole to get the bushing in place unless you have some other plan.
If you look in the pics both of the rear rails are Rusted out pretty bad, not only around the body mount but down the side and bottom as well. As for the control arm tell me more. I’m interested, and always looking for ideas. Finally, thank you for the compliment!

Get on Howes website, although there are others that make uppers and upper mounts.
The keyd mount allows you to adjust antidive, the keyd upper allows caster changes without shims (although there are tapered shims available)

Take a look at the pictures of the offset template body chassis, as well as the road race car (Trans Am series) which is just an un offset template car.

Dirt late models use the same uppers, but some mount them like or similar to this Lazer car

It clamps on those 2 upright bars and is adjustable top to bottom

If you look at this picture of my car you can see a sort of hybrid, I have the hoop/ bay bar that port city uses but my uppers clamp to 2 uprights
