Front end swap?

Thats interesting you guys say the front clip won't fit with the doors. I have a pair of 79 Cutlass doors on a 85 Regal.
Body lines don't match up but it does fit and the doors open.

Anything will fit if you are willing to take the time to cut and shape it to fit. As for the import scene, making a Integra clip fit a Civic I imagine is not too tough as they are similar cars in the way the sides are shaped, and the chassis between a DC and an EG, for example is almost identical. Also, the popular Sil-Eighty is built using cars that have the same sides as well. After all, only the front clip of a Silvia is different from a 180sx/240sx hatch. Plus, there are a lot of body kits and such out there to make one car look like another with custom parts. However, G bodies use much more model specific character lines, so quite a bit of cut and patch would be necessary. Plus, the majority of the G body scene is not into large amounts of body mods and instead concentrates more on making the car look acceptable and putting most of the time and effort into the mechanical side of things. If I were you, I would look on E-Bay for the right parts. These cars are common enough that you should be able to locate a 78-80 front clip somewhere. If it were my car, I would use the single headlight front end on it instead of the 1980 only header panel. I think it looks a lot nicer.

Isn't that what I said?

Funny you should mention the 240sx as I had one and helped convert several S13 chassis with front clips off S14s and S15s, heck even helped one guy put on a 240Z front.

Oh well I got back out there and the fenders were gone so there went grabbing it to try.

I did manage to get the core support cross braces though. Oh and new seats that I'm going to post in a new post.
