Wow you are the only guy I have ever heard of cashin in the Auto Zone points :wink: Mine always seem to expire Or I forget the damn card 😳

Maaaan! Im always up at the zone cashin my points in. I did my whole engine bay respray on points. LOL! i keep my card and keychain card on me at all times!!! Chris and Mel (melman109) turned me onto the card. Been usin it ever since... 😀

I always brought them home and put them in my top desk drawer. So I would not forget them, and proceeded to forget all about them.
I guess I am turning in to a real scatter *ss, in my old age.

Sweet! Just read in Kuruption's thread that he's plannin a Cali trip. Yall def gotta roll thru the shop and we gotta come check you out bruh. Got the parts from the zone. I had some points so I paid like $12.00 for everything. I'll update my thread in a lil bit..

Yep!!! Man I dang near live up there. LOL! Picked up some paint also. Since I didnt get anything done this weekend I'll get on it in the morning when the old lady heads to work at 5am. I'll have all day to get it crackin before I head to work...Thanks again for the part numbers. Now I just need some lower ball joint boots and Im set..

Oh yeah bruh. We all get their catalog I'm sure :wink: I got yellow stcky notes all over the pages of mine. LOL! Updating my thread and I might start a new suspension thread for my 87 also.. Thanks again bro. I had been meaning to get off my lazy butt and finish off the suspension parts for the old girl. Your post and enthusiasm about doin it yourself got me fired up again. Now I can make another "How to" vid on front end suspension rebuilding. 😀

I just looked on AZone website for these links and the part number is not right. (98119R) These are too short! Just goes to show that they dont always list the correct part for a car. By the way, the AZ rewards card system has been changed. Now you get a 3% reward for up to $500 spent and 5% over $500 spent in a 6 month time span. I guess they were losing too much money so they changed it. If this new system bothers you, which it should, say something to the manager about it. They might change it back if they get enough complaints about it. Key word there is "MIGHT"....lol.

Really wrong part #...Ummmmm Well Thats the item i got and the links that wear in the package...you know the way Autozone is, peeps grab parts and put them into other packages, or they try to still parts form there too..

Well What I did was I took the links and the sway bar bushings with me to get the exact fit. Thats just the best way to do it...I should complain to the manager about that...thats not right!!!!

No bro....What I meant was that your part number that fits your car isnt what is shown for that car on their website. And the ones they say will fit my car, WONT! Im sure its just a matter of the yuk yuks at corporate office not knowing that there is a difference between the right part and theirs or energy suspension has their numbers mixed up....who knows...
