I was just thinking about this: Does the lower control arm (LCA) on the front suspension interchange with any other chassis?I am not saying identical, it just has to bolt to the 2 frame mounts. What about the S trucks, F bodies, or B bodies? I ask this to see what options exist when using factory parts (for cheapness) to redesign the front suspension's geometry.

My other theory is that you could use S-10 Idler and pitman arms to drop the center link and thus cut down the bump steer issues. The have a larger drop than the G car stuff, and I think it may work. Would any other Idler/Pitman combo do something similar? I have yet to try it, but this one is something I will be trying in the future. However, I think it may require a bit of modification to the jounce bar mount as it seems to be in the way.
