Front suspension recommendations g

I just put BMR 1.5" lowering springs and Bilstein AK series shocks on my 87 Cutlass and love the results driving and handling wise. The ride is firm and planted yet not harsh. However the rear does sit a hair lower than the front . I did the front end first and the cars stance was nice with the factory height springs in the rear. Also the front springs were a pain to install but worth the effort. Top photo is lowered front stock rear, bottom is lowered front and rear.

My 86 442 had the GN bushings as well.

My 85 Salon had the GNX bushing from the factory also, not real sure what the reasoning behind when they were installed.
Perhaps there was a disgruntled employee at the factory who wanted to hurt GM without hurting the customer so he added the additional GNX bushings to random cars so they lost money. Hahaha. Highly unlikely but funny to think about.

I heard a radio show on npr about the gm plants in the 80s. Apparently everyone was drunk all the time... Ex worker specifically mentioned "regals with cutlass front clips" where being produced....

I just swapped the frame on my '78 Malibu. Mine had the GNX bushings which surprised me. Also my vote for handling suspension is coil over shocks. I went with the full Ridetech set up.
