Fuel Gone!

Well I hope it's not that exact one, it's only a 6 volt pump. At any rate though id still check the pressure to see what you are actually getting. Even if it's nothing more than ruling out the pressure as being a problem.
 
Hooked up choke. Seemed to help but I still need to check the fuel pressure. Never done it before. Quick tips?
 
Installed fuel pressure regulator with gauge. Put it at 5.5 psi at warm idle. Drove home from work today, 25 miles, parked the car and very obvious gas smell... Big time in engine bay. No leaks in engine bay. Carb is getting flooded because I tried to start it back up and it struggled because too much gas, flooded! What the heck?! I'm getting frustrated.

Any thoughts?????

Did you just bolt on the carb and go?? Still sounds like the carb needs to be adjusted, the factory sets up the carbs to run rich.
 
The engine builders were to have set up the carb for me. They ran the engine and dynoed it with carb already installed. I haven't touched the settings on it.
