fuel line mod for performer carb...

Is there any sort of elbow fitting you can get that you screw into the end of the fuel line in front of the carb so I can connect a rubber hose to go around the side of my new edel carb I am trying to put on. I'm talking about where the fuel line holds the fuel filter and then screws into the front of a rochestor carb. I don't want to have to cut the existing fuel line. Is there a way to connect the the end of that line to a rubber hose?

If you don't want to cut the fuel line you're better off plumbing a new one from the pump to the carb. You can theorectically plumb a fitting into the end of the hard line but why bother, plus that's just another potential leak point.

Does your current setup have the hard-linecoming straight into the carb or does it come in from the side? Engine & carb info would be helpful.

It's a 231 buick with a dualjet and the line goes in the front of of the carb to a fuel filter. The new carb is on the side.
