thanks for the reply pagrunt. bought one of those about a week ago. they look good. gonna get the one fleming442 showed me although i would really like a 90 degree one but cannot find one. i'll put a 90 on the braided hose.
thanks for the reply. i see a lot of 5/8x18,1/2x20,11/16x20 male inverted flare which would go into the pump but what i took out was a 3/8x24 male flare like a 3/8 brake line would have. the -6 male on the other end is good. can't believe i can't get this right
here is the correct fuel pump fitting for my carter mechanical fuel pump so you can use a -6 line. Jegs part number 100541, -06an to 5/8"-16. i took a 3/8 flare line out and thought a 3/8-24 male flare would go back in. Wrong. hope to graduate from the school of hard knocks soon.
