Will do, i'll update you guys on how she handled the trip once i get up there.

I'm going to re-calibrate my carb to run learner so i can skim a few bucks off the gas cost 😛.

I do have to say this though, thank god for overdrive transmissions, or i'd have to pawn a kidney to afford gas 😛

I drove my '79 Cutlass with a 260 V8 2bbl/TH350/granny gears from here in Mpls to Boulder, CO and averaged over 17 mpg the whole trip... most of which was 75 mph+.

:hijack: I'm getting 15mpg in my 86 Regal with a 455, TH400 and stock Hwy gears.

Hah, so i learned a valuable lesson today, you get what you pay for.

Remember that new pump i bought? Defective.

It started pissing fuel out of the "wheep hole", and then stopped working entirely. On the upside, I'm happy it happened TODAY and not tomorrow when I'm on I-95 somewhere.

And on an even better note, i dished out the 17$ and bought an OEM replacement from Advanced.

Lesson learned.
