Fuel stabilizer question.

I though docks and marinas all have ethanol free fuel......🤔


Not in the states

they only place around here I can get ethanol free is at the local airport

I think it does. I like Techron because it actually works. Not a stabilizer but a great additive. In gas stuff I don't use a lot like my generator, pressure washer and chainsaw I use aviation fuel as it does not go bad. Been using it for years as I ran my airboat on it.

I use ethonol free gas in my GP and there is no deposits or gum when I leave it sit over the winter. All the stations around my son's place has no ethonol in the gas. All of his chain saws, tillers, tractors and lawn motor start easy and don't have any problem using real gas.
 
Here in the south we have a lot of fuel issues, even with the non E fuel due to the heat and humidity, as the ethanol absorbs moisture and the light ends evaporate through the plastic containers and gas caps, leaving the heavy ends of the gas such as tar and moisture leading to crap that plug the carbs and pi**ing you off when you go to use it
