K&N filters work great. I've even got a K&N filter on my ZL1 key...
I can't swear to it, but looking at it, the 5th gen Camaro Z28 factory air filter looks suspiciously like a K&N filter as well. But I cannot get any verification on it. It has Z28 on it instead of K&N on the end.
