My neighbor across the street did this. When he sent me pictures I just started laughing. Said on the pads will burn it off it will be fine.

Had a 98 Honda Civic - oil filter right over the exhaust pipe.

My Kawasaki bike, same thing

My f150, Ford at least tried to put a little drainage tray so that the oil would drip all over everything and come out a specific little spout. But nah, the tray overflows and oil gets everywhere....

Yup I know the Civic, used to have a 1997. Right above that axle too.

My 2001 2500 HD is literally that pic, oil splashes off the exhaust and that's after you remove the skid plate under the pan.
