I'm late to see this one. But the VQ is probably one of the WORST sounding engines out there. There are a few 350 and 370s with straight pipes that like to drift the traffic circle behind my house.

Just awful. I wish the owners a slow and painful demise

Haven't heard the V6 Challenger or 4 banger Mufftang yet. But can confirm the 3.6 Camaro is hot garbage without mufflers.

4cyl Mustang is turbo so that has that little whistle, but the NA V6 stuff is all on par. Several here in the local area the military kids buy up for high APR and throw some loud muffler thinking they are the fastest ever.
