Musk doesn't know the film well as Deckard ( Ford's character) only drives a ground car. There is a wedge shape, red flying car with visible jet engines in Blade Runner. However, its only a model in the background for a couple of F/X scenes in the film.

So….it’s a retro design. Guess I shouldn’t laugh at the guy that owns one not far from me. Dam it.

It may be retro but its not well done retro. The Blade Runner cars are ugly on purpose to fit the dystopia theme and they still look better than the Cybertruck. There are other new cars trying to emulate 80's styling but not very well.
