My daily winter driver is a 2003 Yukon XL 1500 SLT with the 5.3 VIN Z flex-fuel L59 (and 32 gallon gas tank) right now the cheapest I can get E85 for is $2.49, Regular 87 octane is $2.84, the difference is I get about 8 mpg on E85 Vs. 13 mpg on regular. Unless the price difference is $1.00+ a gallon, it’s actually more expensive to run E85. And .223/5.56X45 are actually .22 caliber too 🤷🏼
