MALIBU G Body Big Brakes

I have a 1981 Chevy Malibu doing a brake conversion do I have to use the same size rotors front & back? I have the Corvette C6 z51 13.4" for the (front) I have C5 Z06 calipers already. Should I pay for the rear mounting bracket just to keep them the same size rotor as the front? any suggestions comments are all welcome. Thanks again

Most of the time rear rotors are significantly smaller than the fronts. Most of the braking power comes from the front.
