I have toooooo many hotwheels (thousands!) had to almost quit collecting to start working on my real rides and glad I did. That said, I still like the hunt of a unique little car or truck. I even got into customizing them, anyone here do cutsom hotwheels etc...? When ever I clean out a path in my shed I'll post some pics of my best ones.

I have tried switching wheels....failed. Had no clue how to open the clamps that secured the wheels in without bending the ish out of them or drilling them out lol. All in all it looked better before i tried to mess with it. I also took my montezooma apart and sprayed it flat black.. came out pretty good but the chassis has been cracked for as long as i can remember and the body doesnt really stay secure in the back.

I used a 5/32 drill bit to drill the rivets very carefully and a small craftsman screwdriver to pry the wheels out, it also helps to have a dremel. As for keeping the wheels on use jb weld works fine and wooden clothes pins come in handy also make great extra hands lol. I finally went an got myself a badger two stage airbrush and learned to use it pretty well even done a few fade paint jobs on hotwheels.
