Replying to this, I've also noticed even if you BUY from the GM website most certainly they are GM Licensed & Branded parts but NOT made in USA or to NOS Quality. I've bought a couple of things for my OBS 91 truck and it said on the side of the box "Made in Thailand" or Some times Mexico. I'd much rather have things from Canda and Mexico than the others! I've started to see it happening a bit more now.
GM's been doing that for YEARS with their parts. Made in Mexico, Japan, Taiwan, Korea (Camaro SS emblems), China (Camaro aluminum wheels) and the U.K. even (some G-body washer pumps)...there's no place on earth that GM wouldn't buy from.

Its not just G bodies or even car parts, prices are going up for everything. The rise in food prices is scary.
