There was a 79 GP in high performance Pontiac, not sure on the month or year

Good Morning Guys; Thank you Ed, that makes three two doors that I know of. Mine, the one I seen in Michigan years ago with a cop drivin' & this from an old magazine, but I'll bet it's still around. Too bad the owner doesn't post here. Their has to be more somewhere?? The articular is wrong about the speedo, it only goes to 120 MPH, at least that's what mine says. I sure would like to go head to head with that one. I might lose at the drag strip?? but on the Auto-X I think that the Bronze Brick would rule. And top end (very silly of me & not that high) the Brick would easily drive away, 3.43 vs 4.11's. As I can pull 6500 in all three gears & I'm not sure the 468 would pull much past 6000-6200 (just a guess). Of course I'm bias, I sure wish GM would of hung a SS badge on this thing. But then it wouldn't be unusual. How many GNX's did GM build?? I sure wish someone form the forum had the inclination & bucks to buy this from me. I don't like the idea of selling it outside the family (G body forum). But Monday, supposedly a fella is coming to look at the Dodge Journey I have for sale & he is also looking for a Hot rod to take to various car events (Power Tour & more). Wouldn't it be ironic if bought both or just the Malibu?? Thanks again Ole' Bob.

I like the ZL1 but why would you put a "454" sticker on a ZL1? That doesn't make any sense.

And who in their right mind would bolt an L69 carb onto a high compression open chamber 427? and then runs a ZL1 exhaust though the factory Y-pipe/exhaust?

People did a lot of stupid stuff in the 1980's trying to re-find their way to make modern muscle cars work. First trip to the track with sticky tire this set-up sends a tire-wheel-axle combo into the wall or next lane and the cars leaves the track on a flatbed. Overkill indeed.

Ya gotta remember this was before the www. and internet shaming and bullying.
