What's wrong with the original bolts?

It's a 260, not a top-fuel motor, just clean them up and re-use them...

The original head bolts where too hard they can break at the threads when re torqued. GM had a service bulletin about a billion years ago. They recommended replacing them to avoid problems. 8)
