Wow I never paid much attention to this gbody of the month thing because I am not much of a car show kind of guy. I generally like cruise ins, drags, late night unofficial gatherings, sleepers and a lot of the old lawn chair guys are a lil boreing. Anyway this is great because its not another camaro mustang chevelle with the same been so played set up. Its my favorite car line but lots of cool distinct cars. Looks like El Camino month which is cool plus its not the first thing that comes to mind when you thing of a G. That said we have some cool Buicks & Pontiacs with different powertrains etc for variety.
I never vote at car shows or even put my tag up to be voted on when I have entered in car shows. I am just there to enjoy cars & gear heads and while I generally prefer near factory looks or theme I don't care to much about whether something has all concors correct things on it. Plus I hate when they won't open their hood to showcase the heart always makes me think poser. And my preference of musclecars or some type of performance car shouldnt be posers imo. Anyway cool as a bunch of these rides are my vote is going to have to go to 565bbchevy. I usually get tired of seeing chevys but this thing is phenominal. I also checked out his albums and his youtubes. Fantastic work and killer cool car. Props.
Plus this guy totally appears to have built it, fabs parts etc. I don't care what he may of had a machine shop or pro builder do he appears to have been involved in the parts selection & decision making and certainly assembly etc where possible. A couple months ago we had a killer 496 bbolds but the guy doesn't frequent the site and didn't do much if any of the build work and motor parts selections etc. Not knocking him just saying. This guy seems to be the real deal and you can't hold it against him if has more budget to work with than average guy. Mad props.
