Hi my name is Tim. I own a 79 malibu. Still has the original motor and transmission with 68,000 original miles. I recently installed a 272 comp cam and a 4 barrel intake with a new rebult holley. It has been lowered 2" with eibach springs. I installed a new posi in the rear. I drive it round trip everyday 25 miles. I drive it on the weekends too. The only time it doesn't see pavement is in the winter.

Hi Guys. My name is Josh, and this is my first car. It's a 1988 Olds Cutlass Supreme Brougham, originally born with a 307, and 2004R.

This originally was not going to be my car. The plan was for it to be a guy project car between Myself, my father, and one of his good friends (pretty much my uncle) to end up with a cool hot rod. It was a score for $400, the body was pretty good aside from a crappy repaint and minor damage, and it was virtually rust free. We picked up a 1973 Chevy 350, that already had a 400 crank and eagle rods (making it a 383), and 1.6 roller rockers. We threw in a Comp Cams Thumpr Cam (a roller cam) and lifters, and Comp Beehive valve springs. Then we installed an Edelbrock Intake and carb we got for free. And after a year of working on the car it came to life.

And, on my 15th birthday, I was suprised with my first car, this one. 8) It became my daily this June. My commute to work is only about 10 minutes, but I love to go cruise around the beach, so this car see's a fair amount of miles. So far (other than the engine and transmission we put in) the only work that has been done is and B&M Hammer Shifter, the steering wheel out of a Trans Am, an Autometer Tach, and a little cleaning and painting of old parts.

I think it's turning out pretty well for the little money that had been put into it so far. I have big plans for it to turn it into a decent Street/Strip car. 8)
