Again I'm going to try & instigate you to attend the Car Craft Nat's, it's only 200 (give or take) miles for you. I would really like to lose a round to you at the mid night drags, after I try & post a better time on the auto-X. You seem to be under the impression that I have the free time on my 6 day workweek to load up a truck and trailer that I don't own and then spend 2 hours driving to a strip (which would probably be closed) just so I can drive my car, to that I would say "WHAT A WASTE".
The Monte I have now is built from years of ownership and constant changes so it has evolved over time to what you see now.
I built my car to be enjoyed when I can find the time and to fulfill my need for power which it does quite well, I am sorry that you feel it should be some sort of dedicated strip car that would end up just sitting in my garage most likely all year but then again I did not work this hard building everything on this car myself to satisfy any need of yours, but Thanks anyways for the partial compliment.
I don't understand everyone's obsession with track times anyways. His car is certainly very quick as well as fast. If anyone doubts that, then they must certainly not know what they are talking about. Not everyone feels the need to go to the track to "measure their dick" whether they have the time to or not.
