So I went online to RockAuto last night and poked around on the site to see what service parts are for the likely repairs/maintenance I'd need to do to get it running. Most of them are ridiculously cheap. Even a brand-new gas tank is less than $100. As I've shared, longer-term, I'm going to pour five-figures worth of money into this project, but at least to get it running, registered, and smogged as-is, it's looking like it will probably be well less than $1,000. Can wait to get it going and take it to a few drive-in cruise nights!

Where is your official build thread?

I went kind of bananas when I first joined GBF, and upon the suggestion of another forum member, all my questions, photos, etc. were consolidated into a single thread, which I think is now inactive. Car is not yet officially "home." Once I get it here, and start wrenching on it, the "official" build thread will begin. Stay tuned...:)

I have one on the shelf, myself, for eventual installation. Learned my lesson on my second wagon
