this is the factory paint. but since there is rough patches at the usual places these cars usually get, i was forced to do some sanding and primering. im thinkin bout candy paint... now before anyone judges, i must say this color isnt flamboyant. its a dark color. so heres the factory grey. it looks yellowish cuz of the sunset. pay no attention to my expression. i was chemically enhanced haha
I personally like the color but just let it marinate for awhile befor you fully go through with It. Also factor In how Its going to look with the rims on it, if your planning to put a new set on. Good luck with the paint job and post some pics after Its complete. 8)
I personally like the candy color, but you will definitely need chrome wheels to compliment it (IMO of course). If you are not really familiar with candy paint it can be very expensive, a lot higher maintenance that a regular paint job (I would keep it in a garage), and you definitely should find some one who is experienced in shooting it.
If deep down you think you eventually want a coupe don't waist your $$ on candy. G bodies don't command a high sale value (with the exception of a few models), and 4 doors are worse than coupes.
