Glass Interchange Question

Yep this question should probably go in the "Body and Trim" section but need some quick answers in the most popular section of this site. 😀

I deal with 78-80 Cutlass mainly and dabble a little in 81-88. Does the door glass interchange between the two era's? I am looking to use glass from an 86 in 79 doors.

Thats strange, the Hollander lists 81-88 and 78-80 being different

Back when I had my '87 Cutlass, I had a window break and I replaced it with one from a '78.
It fit perfect, but the threads on the studs that attach it to the regulator were different.
I think the '87s were metric and the '78s were SAE...
