Has anyone used Glow Shift gauges I am wondering how reliable they are and any other issues with them.
I just added green led's to replace my factory bulbs and would like to add a few more gauges to my Regal, I have a full set (15 total) of classic Autometer gauges I took out of my Monte but I like the look of these and the ability to change the color easily.
For a little more money you can get the analog with the digital readout but I like just the analog also.

Kind of hit or miss on those. Mainly on temp, boost and oil

Eqquis are cheap and you can change the light color. And mine have been pretty damn accurate in my dd

I have a feeling I will just use a few of my Autometers and add a green led for lighting, most of the reviews I have read are hit or miss also but many reviews are 5 or more years old so I would hope they would improve the product as time goes on.

I think they figured the way they light up plus the fact they were used in fast furious series was enough to sell. I've heard volt and tach are decent

I have been partial to autometer, and heard the same things about those.

I had them in my cutlass. Speedo, tach, oil, temp, volt, fuel press, vac/boost. The only one that was not reliable was fuel press. I liked the speedo cause it had a correction dial on the back. Beautiful gauges tho.

They are pretty popular in the diesel world but they earned the name "GlowShit" for a reason I guess. I only have 1 friend that has used em and he had issues with them. He threw em away and went to AutoMeter.

It's hard for me to change from my autometers. Had them for years and have always been accurate. I've looked at other brands but just didn't feel confident enough to swap.
You have all autometers in the monte and know they are accurate, why change for the regal?
If anything, look at the newer stewart warner options, or new vintage usa. Both look modern and i believe the colors can be changed, someone correct me if wrong.

For my Monte it is hard for me to change brands mainly because I trust them but also because of the amount of gauges in there Autometer is about the only one where I can get every gauge in the same series as with my Ultralites.
But for the Regal it is only going to have a mild SBC so I want to add oil pressure, temp and volts and wanted something different and I liked the backlit style of those but obviously would still need them to be accurate, like I said I have these gauges in the classic style now pulled from my Monte but I have been looking at those for 15 years now so just looking at possible options without breaking the bank.
