GN louvers?

Are they fuctional or just for looks? If just for looks are they stick on or are the fenders cut out for them?

they are functional, and the fenders need to be cut. i added them to my monte and love them.

I can't say how well they work but their purpose is to help air escape from the engine bay. I had them on my Cutlass for a while but decided not to keep them.

How much of a pita was it to cut the fenders? Getting the extra heat from my headers out. Sounds like a good thing. Any worries of paint discoloration around them?

wasn't bad at all. i made a template for it, traced out what i wanted to cut, then masked it off and used a small cutoff wheel. worked great.

In order for them to be fully functional as they were on the GNX, you need to cut the inner fender as well. http://www.kirbanperformance.com has the inner fender bezel that the original GNX setup used as well as the louvers. The original setup on the GNX had some sheet metal fabricated to allow the air to flow out. This link will take you to a site for all the stuff under the hood that you will need
