GN rear end

ive been looking for a gn rear end for my regal and came accross a guy with 2. one has 120,00 miles and non posi for $600, and the other has 80,000 miles and is posi for $800. do these prices seem right? i dont wanna pay too much. also were gn rear ends made in both posi and non posi?

The one for $800 is about a good a deal as you're gonna get for a working posi 8.5" rear, unless someone is in dire straits.

thanks. im just wondering if by the time i drive there and back in my truck if i would end up spending close to the same amount of money. to pick it up i have to take the work truck, and that only gets 8mi per gallon.

I know what you mean. My $500 engine turned into an $800 engine after driving 5 hours to get it last year.

a 3 hour turn around (total trip), I think it would be worth the drive... even if it cost you an extra 100... you get to see what you are buying and make your decision right there and then bring it home!
