i keep seeing all these posts about the f41 sway bars, what in the hell is that and what is there purpose. LOL just wanting to know.
 
F41 is GM's rpo code for sport suspension. It's larger diameter than the standard front sway bar.
 
Those are the bars that came on my Regal. From experience, they're pretty good for stock yet they're less extreme than aftermarket bars.
 
Funny thing is, I think the RPOs changed over the years. My Cutlass "only' has FE2 suspension, but in 1981 that was the "Rally Suspension" package, and there wasn't a F41 available that year, but I have the fat front & rear anti-roll bars.
