so 1200 bucks is too much for a GN rearend? posi i seen it on ebay

That listing has been on ebay for a while. I guess it just depends on how much you want to pay for one..

I just paid 500 for a Ford 8.8 w/ 4:10 w/ richmond gears and a girdle, Ford Motorsports LSD and forged axles. I still have to spend a few hundred dollars and man hours doing the swap. If I could have spend 300 dollars extra to get a bolt-in, I would have.

I seen them go out here in Cali from 800-1300 sounds like a fair price.

I paid 650 for a stock posi rear end out of a 442.. low ball everyone this guy was on ebay asking 950 I offered him 650 and he took it

I hate to say it but there's some desperate people out there selling a lot of things for what they can get. The economy is pushing people to sell for less. Keep looking an you'll find the deals.

About a year ago (maybe a little longer) I sold an 8.5 for $1000 bucks but it also had Moser axles, spool and c-clip eliminators and a brand new 4:10 gear in it.

Sold mine in Dec for $1200 had new 4.10 gears and i had it sand blasted and powder coated back. even gave him the old 373s incase he wanted to go down in gears. There is a guys out here in So Cal that has them for $750.00. He has a couple. Rare El Camino Parts - Rob 951 776-9000
